The idea of a bucket list is quite morbid to me but you know what i mean. Everyone has something they want to do before they’re too old or they’re dead, and travelling as much as i can is mine. Studying travel for the last 2 years has just made me realise how much i want to achieve this goal. So below are the top 5 places i want to travel to and why.
1) Venice, Italy
About 5 years ago my mum brought a massive picture of ‘The Bridge Of Sighs‘ and this is when i decided i wanted to go to Venice it’s one of the most picturesque places with it’s tall thin buildings and it’s narrow canals. Italy is a place i plan on living in for a while when i finish college and Venice is where i plan on spending most of my time.
2) Blue Lagoon, Iceland.
To be Honest Iceland looks like quite a bleak and depressing place, very Tumblr worthy with all the fog and frost but it’s still beautiful and quite an interesting place. The Blue Lagoon is basically a hot spring lake that’s heated by a volcano and look at it, you can .
3) Taj Mahal, India.
India all together to be honest, but i cant write about wanting to go India and not give the Taj Mahal a shout out. India is one of the most cultured places with beautiful traditions and everything about the country fascinates me. The Taj Mahal took 20 years to build and it’s name means ‘Crown of Palaces‘ so it must be worth a visit.
4) Cape Town, South Africa.
I want to spend a month in South Africa working at an animal orphanage (when i actually learn how to save money) and Cape Town is where i’d like to stay for at least a week while over there. It’s full of traditional markets and has a beautiful coast line.
If you’ve been following my blog you will know why Cuba applies to me. The import ban that lasted from 1960 until 2011 meant that most if not all cars in Cuba are from the 50’s. Cuba has some of the most interesting history with the strangest facts, for example, when Fidel Castro seized power in Cuba, he immediately ordered all game sets of Monopoly to be destroyed.
